At EACH, our events are more than just gatherings—they are opportunities to bring our community together in support of our hospice and the patients we serve. Over the years, we’ve been blessed with events that have made a meaningful impact, such as our annual EACH Golf Day, the vibrant EACH Fête, Employee Wellness Events, Health Education day, Physiotherapy, Speech therapy and Occupational therapy once a week, generous foundation check-ins from companies, and heartfelt Mandela Day initiatives. Each event not only raises much-needed support but also strengthens the bonds between our supporters, volunteers, and the families we care for. Together, we create moments of joy, connection, and hope for those in need.
EACH Golf Day 2024
The 2024 EACH Golf Day turned out to be one of our most memorable and successful events yet, thanks to the overwhelming support of players, sponsors, and friends of the hospice. With a crisp 11:00am tee-off, the golf course came alive with teams of four ready to enjoy a full day of sport and camaraderie. Along the way, participants were treated to a variety of watering holes stocked with refreshing drinks, snacks, and plenty of laughter, making the day feel both competitive and festive.
By late afternoon, play wrapped up around 17:00, but the celebrations were far from over. The evening continued with a delicious dinner and a prize-giving ceremony, where teams and individuals were recognised not just for their golfing skills, but also for their spirit of fun and generosity. The atmosphere was filled with community pride and gratitude, as everyone came together to support EACH’s work in caring for patients and families. EACH FETE
This year’s EACH Fête was a vibrant and joy-filled day that truly captured the heart of our community. The grounds were bustling with activity as visitors explored the wide range of food stalls offering delicious homemade meals and sweet treats, drinks to keep everyone refreshed, and many other unique stalls selling items big and small. From the moment guests arrived, there was an undeniable buzz of excitement as families, friends, and neighbours gathered to enjoy the festivities.
The entertainment program kept the crowd engaged throughout the day, with a lively pageant showcasing local talent and charm, along with uplifting music that set the tone for celebration. Children had endless fun with the jumping castle and other kid-friendly activities, making it a perfect family outing. Beyond the food, fun, and entertainment, the day was a celebration of community support for EACH and the essential services we provide. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, donated, or volunteered, your involvement helped turn the Fête into more than just an event, but a true expression of community spirit and care.
